I got this great 32oz T-bone steak at "Great American Land and Cattle Steak House" in 2010 when I visited El Paso Texas. It was so good. And YES I did finish it along with all the sides.

AC Transit installed WiFi internet access on their Transbay Buses and it is FREE$$$ About a 2 months ago I saw new stickers on the bus stating "Wifi Access" so I busted open my Nintendo DS and tried to connect... and NUTHIN. Then about one month ago I saw some people at the bus station handing out papers showing how to get connected, and the buses had signs inside advertising the free wifi. SOOO I AGAIN busted out my Nintendo DS (with Mario Kart) and tried to connect, and BAM Right in the KISSER I got connected to the INTERWEBZ. It is so nice to see all the CHUMPS in traffic while I pass them on the car pool lane, playing Mario Kart DS with chumps on the Intertubes for 3 bucks and fifty cents. These buses are not the busted assed ones you see on the streets these are the tour bus looking ones that are all green, each seat has its 0wn overhead light and AC vent. The seat is similar to the ones you see in the large movie theaters AND there are also power plugs for all your electronic devices to cook into.

I asked some friends and they looked at me like I was on Crack, they had never seen them. Well my parents came to visit and brought me a couple ask PROOF!

Now that I work in San Francisco I use public transportation to work. I also get to walk around the city more now, and I see some pretty cool things. I started to find gloves around the city and began taking pictures of them. It seems that a lot of people lose their gloves around the Bay Area, and here are some that I found.

Some people might not know what the above is... it is a *RARE* Star Wars figure called "Snaggle Tooth (blue version)". This action figure was quickly pulled from the stores because it was not what the character was supposed to look like. Lucas Film sent the toy company a black and white waist up picture to create the figure from, which is why it was made incorrectly. The character should have been reddish in color, half as tall, no boots, and with fur on his hands and feet. Blue Snaggle Tooth could only be purchased by getting the Sears exclusive Cantina Scene toy set. How did I get mine? Let's look back to 1994 when I was hunting around a flea market in El Paso Texas. Some poor sucker had a box full of action figures for sale that were 50 cents each. So I SNATCHED all the Star Wars figures I could find, including Mr. Blue Snaggle Toothand, with (hands shaking) I paid the man and ran home. If you would like to collect one, go to ebay and search, but make sure you have at LEAST $200-$300 bucks cause that is how much it will set you back. If you read through his crap, I think it means you are a Star Wars fan or just bored. Click image for Large Size

I created this animated GIF for a Web Graphics class I had in Art School. We used Java to call and display the 20 gif files in a sequence, which created this animation. I simplified it by creating an animated GIF, I Still don't know why we didn't just create this as an animated GIF in the first DANG place.

I found an old animation device that I made when I was in computer animation school during my first quarter. This device was made out of card stock paper and some twine. You would cut the paper in two similar size circles, draw two things to animate, and sandwich the twine between the pieces of card stock with some glue. I created an animated GIF of my device.
This wasn't very "COMPUTER ANIMATED" but that is what you get for $30,000 worth of education.

I just got back from a week long trip in Anaheim to visit family and check out Disneyland. On my drive from San Francisco to Anaheim, we got stopped by three road blocks. First was a wreck on the other side of the freeway... damn rubber-neckers, then by two 18 wheelers that got blown over by the high winds, and to finish it off... some power lines fell on the freeway. So this made a 5-6 hour trip turn into a 13 hour fun filled road trip. Here are some below pictures of the miles traveled and how much time it took, this was in Bakersfield...
253.8 Miles
After 1 Hour and 8 Mins.... 254.7
Yes that is .9 miles in 1hr 8mins Lucky me.
Besides this wonderful day, the rest of the trip was fun.

I was browsing a website that had pictures and descriptions of toys from the 1970's / 1980's and it had the above Tonka truck. I remember playing with that truck, which to some was called and indestructible truck. But to my brother and I, it was FUN FUN FUN DESTRUCTOFUN! We had two trucks, one was the above dump truck and the other was some type of Tonka wrecker type truck. We would have our trucks facing each other about 1 foot away, then we would start to BASH the HECK out of them like two RAMS fighting each other. First the plastic windows would go, then bumpers and lights, and then one of our fingers or hands would get crushed or cut. We would then stop and recover, and start again on the bashing. We would bash them till the front of the trucks looked like they fell off of a 100 story building. BUT NO that was not enough for our trucks! OH NO... we would grab some bricks (yes we had loose bricks in the back yard that my dad had) and start to crush any part of the truck that was not bent or in normal condition. After we got board with that, we would get some hammers (my brother would get the good hammer the one that was all metal and had a rubber handle) and we would make these trucks look "battle damaged". I will never forget the day that my dad found us "playing" with our trucks, and saying "HOW did you DO that to a TONKA Truck" with a very disappointed look on his face. My dad didn't have many toys when he was a kid, so I guess we just looked like mean, ungrateful, destructive kids. We had a lot of fun with our Tonka trucks, and we made them look like they came from the Star Wars universe, by adding some "battle damage" to them. We finally got rid of the trucks once we broke the tires off... they had some good times. I never though our version of "playing with our Tonka trucks" was unusual until I started to talk to my friends about it. I wish I still had my old Tonka truck, so I could see the piece of art that my brother and I created.

Today was my first day of a switch from a PC to a MAC at work. I ONLY did the switch because I have to support some MACs and the users are some high up Exec’s, and not cause I really wanted to do the trendy SWITCH. The thing that really was fun was setting up Virtual PC :) . The very first thing after installing Office 2004 on the MAC was Virtual PC, then I setup a fresh custom install of Windows XP FULL SCREEN (Microsoft ALWAYS first). The speed isn’t too bad, and now I can still support the 85% of the PC users that I work with. So far I have see only some things that bother me, like slow mouse speed (even with it turned up), when you hit DELETE in Virtual PC with Outlook 2003 it does a backspace command, and not remembering my view of details when I switch from folder to folder in finder. I do like the sleep/suspend that the Mac does, it actually works and detects the network unlike my PC where it sometimes "mostly" gets confused. I know some of my bitches are just me learning where the settings are on the MAC, so I will give updates of my APPLE SWISH. At least I can still play quake 3 on this damn thing. VIVA TEXAS! |

In the beginning of the summer Surplus Computers had their 5TH Annual Parking Lot sale and I went by to check out what they had. They had LOADS of Tech NERDZ looking through PILES and PILES of busted desktops and TONS out of date tech gear. They did have some gear that was nice, like USB 2.0 2.5 laptop drive external cases for $15.99. On Sept. 25th they will have their end of summer 6TH Annual Parking Lot sale and I think me and a couple of my robot friends are going to go and check out the junk they have, and also watch all the Hip-pack wearing, inhaler breathing, Tri Coder using, Windows vs. Unix crying, windows vs. Mac tearing, Star wars vs. Star Trek debating people walking around. This time I hope to get a $1.00 Hot Dog and Coke when I am there. Here are some pictures from the one in May of 2004

I got my new Mini this week, and it rules. A couple of months ago Greedo (my old Mini) got destroyed but now I have a new one and its name is 3P0. (for picture click here) I hope I can get a license plate that says 3P0 or something close, we shall see. I also hope my new Mini will be a "permanent resident" and not get RUINED like the last one. |

Me and Erin will be heading back to the Bay Area, so Hide your Star Wars toys, Tech Gadgets, and Music Gear cause Beavis Christ is back in town. See you on the 27th, hopefully Helpfarm and my other domains will be back up soon, as soon as Speakeasy gets my bandwidth hooked up that is.

Only in Los Angles would you find a Drug Dealer School, I was driving home and saw this. If you don’t believe me, go to Western (where it turns into Los Feliz) and Hollywood, and you will see it. Here is the picture I took.

Well this is sorta cool and sorta sad, but there are pretty nice fires here in the LA area. Ash is everywhere (and I don’t mean that crappy LA SMOG/rust/Chemical grit that gets on everything and settles like dust after a bad dust storm) I mean ASH like from a fireplace. Here is a picture taken on a drive toward the fire. If we were in TEXAS we would be called FIRE Chasers. |

Message from Greedo,
Today My co pilot and I got into some heavy laser firing while leaving Tatooine and trying to get home. I came to a star intersection and had my ship stopped, then all of a sudden, POW! BLAM! ZZIP! CRACK! I felt blasts from the back. The force was so enormous that I flew forward and Hit Boba Fetts Slave 1, Luckily Fett was in a good mood and let me off the hook. I did manage to get way from the firing starship, I think it must have been a Ruiner Droid or such. My co pilot Beavis Christ was just jolted around and only suffered minor neck wounds, but for me I lost an ear and some of my antenna from being thrown from the back of the ship to the front. For a visual report go the this archive http://www.helpfarm.com/~joey/greedo/ Well enough on the report I am off to find a long over due bounty... I will return with Solo.
