I saw this funny AD the other day and wondered what those Microsoft Marketing people are thinking. I thought unix was free, well for the most part besides the ones that suck (I won’t go into that), FREE BSD = $FREE$, OPEN BSD = $FREE$, REDHAT = $FREE$ ... Humm so this add dosn’t seem valid, I do like and use microsoft products BUTT sometimes there marketing sucks.

This is the coolest toy I have seen in a long time, I hope there will be a way to put my own video on them.  They should release the codec, there are already mini cdr disks that would fit in it.  I want one only $50 bucks for the player:

The VIDEONOW player is the ultimate, portable personal video player -- just for kids! It’s instant, on-the-go entertainment with no wires to hook up and nothing to download or install. Just pop in a disc and enjoy up to thirty minutes of your favorite shows in black and white --like American Idol, Spongebob Squarepants, Fairly Odd Parents, and, coming soon, "A Day in My Life by Hilary Duff."

The VIDEONOW personal video player comes complete with a special sampler VIDEONOW personal videodisc featuring over a half dozen excerpts from some of today’s most popular programs.

Each circular, eighty-five millimeter VIDEONOW disc contains up to thirty minutes of uninterrupted content. VIDEONOW discs feature a special proprietary format and will not fit into or play on other media players.

The VIDEONOW player is four inches by six inches with a black and white LCD screen that features sixteen levels of grayscale, contains 80 by 80 pixels and measures 1.7 by 1.3 inches, resulting in quality picture.

Message from Greedo,
Today My co pilot and I got into some heavy laser firing while leaving Tatooine and trying to get home. I came to a star intersection and had my ship stopped, then all of a sudden, POW! BLAM! ZZIP! CRACK! I felt blasts from the back. The force was so enormous that I flew forward and Hit Boba Fetts Slave 1, Luckily Fett was in a good mood and let me off the hook. I did manage to get way from the firing starship, I think it must have been a Ruiner Droid or such.  My co pilot Beavis Christ was just jolted around and only suffered minor neck wounds, but for me I lost an ear and some of my antenna from being thrown from the back of the ship to the front. For a visual report go the this archive http://www.helpfarm.com/~joey/greedo/ Well enough on the report I am off to find a long over due bounty... I will return with Solo.

I was talking to this developer once about music and playing music (I am a musician and so is he).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Me: I wish I could find a bass player to jam with.
DEVELOPER: I play bass...
ME: Yeah it is hard to find Bass players.(Then I walked away)
and that was the end of the conversation...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If you knew this EX Sun Microsystems Developer you would understand.

Last night I watched Star Wars Attack of the Clones again for the 666th time. I found some hints that I hope that EP3 will have in it. The first one was when Obi Wan and Lama Su are talking, here is are the lines:
LAMA SU:
And now to business. You will be
delighted to hear we are on
schedule. Two hundred thousand
units are ready, with another
million well on the way.

So if we only saw about two hundred thousand clones in AOTC then that means we should see MILLIONS of them in Episode 3. So all you out there better go watch AOTC again (when you watch it and think of the actions or words tha will effect the future of EP3, I bet you will hear my voice saying "SEE THATS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!!") There are many more things that has been FORSEEN in AOTC. Now get off your computer and watch ALL the Star Wars movies in a row and FEEL THE POWERRR!!
