1 oz Makers Mark Bourbon 2 Splashes of Bitters 2 TSP Simple Syrup Orange Rind- naval orange Cherry - Maraschino (Luxardo)
In a shaker, put some ice, bourbon, bitters and simple syrup and stir till very cold.
Put an ice ball or a few ice cubes in a glass. Add cherry and pour shaker over ice. Cut a piece of orange rind over the glass so the orange oil sprays on drink. Squeeze peel over drink and rub rind around lip of glass.
